Adding Feeds

  1. Click the gear icon on the RSS widget
  2. Click “Add Feed”
  3. Paste the RSS feed URL
  4. Give it a name (optional)
  5. Save

Finding RSS Feeds

Most websites have RSS feeds. Common locations:

  • Look for the RSS icon (usually orange)
  • Add /feed or /rss to the website URL
  • Check the page source for <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml">

Refresh Interval

How often to check for new articles:

  • 5 minutes (frequent updates)
  • 15 minutes (balanced)
  • 30 minutes (battery-friendly)
  • 1 hour

Items to Display

Number of headlines to show:

  • 5, 10, 15, or 20 items

Show Description

Toggle article previews/summaries.

Tips

  • Keep feed count reasonable (3-5) for best performance
  • Use the News widget for pre-configured popular sources
  • Resize the widget larger to see more headlines
